Congratulations on winning the Best Bikini Walk at Miss New York! In this context, You recently announced the launch of its own line: Anna Swimwear. Can you tell us more about this?

Thanks! And I would be delighted! Anna SwimWear is my first brand that I built by myself besides having my real estate business, I partnered with Miss New York Crown 2020 titleholder, Andreia Gibau as the face of my brand and j can’t wait to see how our shoot goes and what my collection looks like during Miami Swim Week; whose start date is July 16th. The essence of my brand is truly serene beauty; and meant to make you feel like a beauty queen.

You recently attended the 2022 Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix just before competing for Miss New York. Could you tell our readers more about this. What advice would you give to those planning to come next year?

Let’s just say it was an absolutely phenomenal experience!! Being side by side with all the celebrities and walking that coveted red carpet was something absolutely magical! After attending the Grand Prix for the first time, I am happy to say that it was one of the best memories of my life, truly an unforgettable experience to be surrounded by all these amazing people and energy, it is something I can never forget! As far as advice goes I would say PLAN AHEAD – I was lucky to have attended Cannes last year so I know a bit of the ropes but going there at the last minute is a hassle and lots of stress, if you are planning to go I would say plan months in advice it is one of the hottest times of the year in the south of France and everyone wants to be there so make sure your spot is secure! And most importantly, network while you’re at it! You have the elite of the world down in France at this time: billionaires, super models, producers, racing drivers, party!

What have you learned as a model and influencer over the years? What advice would you give to your younger self?

I have learned to always be YOU. There is no one like you and there never will be; being yourself is what makes you unique and authentic and makes you stand out and be a member. To my younger self, I would have said: don’t be shy and be brave, don’t underestimate yourself and don’t be silent! Closed mouths are not fed.

You landed the cover of L’Officiel India earlier this year. You have also been featured in other magazines including Harpers Bazaar, Vigor and Pump. What’s next on your to-do list?

Haha well I’m a bit superstitious when it comes to jinxing future projects so I’ll keep quiet about that – the only knock I can give is that it’s a premier magazine plan starting with a V! But in the meantime, I plan to do some smaller final posts as well.

What has been your favorite modeling job to date and why?

I have to say that’s a tough question, but my answer would have to be modeling for my own swimwear line – it was so empowering to be the face of a business that you own, a business that you created and a business you’re taking Miami Swim Week! I also have huge expansive and mass marketing plans for my brand and I already have a great start with Miss New York 2020 as my partner, so the only way I can see that unfolding is stepping up!

You have a substantial following of over 400,000 Instagram followers. Was there a turning point where your followers started growing exponentially or was it gradual?

Honestly, it was mostly incremental, but when I started getting more press, magazine covers, going to red carpet events, Cannes, beauty pageants, etc., selling properties several million dollars, etc. I would be with people posting/reposting me, etc.

What 3 tips do you have for an aspiring Instagram influencer?

I really don’t consider myself an “influencer”. I think that term is so cliché, I like the term “socialite” because influencer has become redundant and cheesy. When it comes to advice, don’t let anyone tell you what you should or shouldn’t post (as long as you don’t offend anyone), let your creativity shine through, and be different too! Don’t copy someone else’s ig!

How do you think Instagram has impacted the modeling industry?

I think instagram has had a huge impact on the fashion and modeling industry by influencing style trends and seeing fashion live and fitting models in real time instead of just a lookbook or catalog, it was really giving a 3D feel to how fashion is felt, felt and seen and how it can be modeled in so many ways.

What is your current skincare routine?

When I wake up, put on La Roche-Posay which is a French moisturizing sunscreen – its key to wearing SPF daily to keep your skin looking youthful and vital! This particular cream gives you an amazing dewy glow! For before bedtime, I use neutrogena face wash, followed by Ivan Pol (@thebeautysandwhich) IG beauty serum which he calls “filter in a bottle” which nourishes your skin with different vitamins as well than with Dior’s plump Capture Youth filler. Lastly, I drink plenty of water, stay out of the sun, avoid processed foods and alcohol, and sleep!

Which 3 items can’t you live without?

Difficult question! But definitely my airpods! Without my little pods, I have elbow cramps and I’m on the phone A LOT throughout the day, so these little buddies are a MUST! On top of that, my phone is an extension of my brain and is basically my laptop and I can do any work function on it! Finally I could not live without the love of my family; you still need a strong base of support and really like to keep pushing yourself to succeed!
