Cute and Affordable Swimwear That Won’t Break Your Bank Account – The Central Trend

With summer approaching in the near future, our brains are flooded with scorching sun and beaches galore, as the idea of a summer wardrobe is upon us all. Not necessarily trendy skirts and tops or sandals and new sunglasses, but swimsuits.

I love shopping for bikinis, but lately the only ones I could find are either ugly, extremely expensive, or horrible quality. Brands like Aerie and Hollister sell the same items every year in slightly different colors, but news flash, the silhouettes they produce are so dated. Websites like Triangl or Frankies Bikinis, while super adorable and flattering, are out of budget for everyone. And of course, the only place to buy cute and affordable bikinis is Shein, where the quality literally sucks.

So, as the search for summer swimwear continues, I have three websites I could spend all my money on. The first being Blackbough Swims. An eco-friendly brand based in the Philippines. With funky and imaginative prints, their costumes are my all-time favorites.

Their full-price items are still a bit pricey, but Blackbough’s sale section is a diamond in the rough. Although the final sale is a little scary, the size charts they provide are almost 100% accurate, and it’s definitely worth it. The quality of Blackbough swimsuits is perfect: thick, seamless and comfortable. There are many different styles of bikini tops and bottoms to choose from, and each one looks amazing on every body type.

don’t ruin yourself on expensive swimsuits that don’t live up to the quality you’re paying for”

Next up is one of my all-time favorites: O’Neill. Although more suited to the “active” part of swimwear, O’Neill is immensely underrated. From wetsuits and one-pieces to men’s swimwear and bikinis, they have water apparel for every situation. Selling at many retailers, such as surf shops, or even on their own website, you can buy O’Neill anywhere.

It’s not really an underrated brand, but more so a fan favorite that offers such adorable costumes at a wide range of affordable prices. O’Neill being originally a brand for surfers, the products they manufacture are of a very high standard. The problem of slippery bottoms or loose tops is not a problem at all with this brand. Although I might be a little biased as I’ve been a fan of O’Neill swimwear and their playful designs for a while now they are one of the best swimwear brands with a good price and a amazing quality.

Finally, although not classified as a “brand”, TJMAXX offers the best swimwear. Not only is it my favorite store in the whole world, but when spring comes around and they put the swimsuits on the floor, I feel the urge to buy everything. Carrying brands ranging from Patagonia to Dippin Daisy to Michael Kors, they offer all the favorite brands at rock bottom prices. It’s basically a one-stop-shop for all your favorite brands at discounted prices. And, you still get the quality and cute designs you desire.

Whether you’re spending your summer at the beach, pool, lake, or even just sunbathing, don’t break the bank with expensive swimwear that doesn’t live up to the quality you’re paying for.
